2019-2020 KS2 SATs Outcomes

The routine exam and assessment results for schools are not available for 2020 and 2021 due to the global pandemic. This led to the national cancellation of all examinations. However, the examination results for 2019 are provided as a broad 'rule of thumb' for previous attainment. A full set of information is available at http://www.gov.uk/school-performance-tables.

2019: Progress in reading, writing and mathematics.

  • Reading -1 (Average)
  • Writing +2.4 (Above Average)
  • Mathematics -1 (Average)

2019: Pupil meeting the expected standard in reading, writing and mathematics.

  • St George's School 59% (Essex LA 66% and England average 65%)

Pupils achieving a higher standard in reading, writing and mathematics.

  • St George's School 7% (Essex LA 11%, England average 11%)

The results show that students that were at St George's School for all four years in Key Stage 2 achieved in line with the national outcomes, with 66% of these children attaining a combined score in reading, writing and mathematics.

The school results for all pupils in Year 6 include children that moved mid key stage, and were not always at St George's School. These are the official results for the school, and will be published nationally.
