Starting School
Starting school is an important milestone for children and their families. At St George's School we a keen to make the transition as smooth as positive to support the beginning of a happy learning journey.
We have carefully planned key transition dates for the children and their families to help everyone feel informed, ready and comfortable before the start of school.

A tour around our school

September start dates and transition
Children will have a staggered start to school in September. This will enable children to build familiarity with new environments, establish relationships with adults and form friendships with new childrne. We have carefully planned in a variety of parent meetings, play sessions, half day sessions and full day experiences to best prepare your child for the start of their journey.
